Overview
In Minecraft, spawn protection is designed to prevent players from causing damage or changing the immediate area around the world spawn point. The spawn point is where players initially appear in the world when they join the game or after they die without setting a specific respawn point. By default, the spawn protection area extends 16 blocks in each direction from the world spawn point set from the World Border.
Note: Spawn protection requires one OP player on the server. Learn how to give OP permissions here.
How To Change the Spawn Protection on a Minecraft Server
Step 1. Log in to the Meloncube Games panel.
Step 2. Stop the server.
Step 3. Go to the Config Files tab on the left and select Server Properties.
Step 4. On the Spawn Protection field, change to the desired number.
Inputting 0
turns off spawn protection.
Step 5. Start the server.
