Shortly after moving our EU operations from Roubaix, to Calais, we are very happy to announce that we’ve launched service at yet another location to help improve latency for our customers. Our new location provides fast connectivity in eastern and southern United States and neighboring Central and South Americas.
One of our most requested locations is finally available and will provide single and low double digit latency to customers in the the US and near South America. The Miami, FL location also brings Intel Core i7 CPUs, 32GB DDR3 RAM, Solid State Drives, 1Gbps Connection and our DDoS protection as standard.
Unfortunately, we’ve had to price this location at $4 per GB, rather than the usual $3 per GB due to higher costs associated with running our operations in this area. We hope that we can make it up to you through better performance (smaller node, means more resources for fewer servers) and a free ‘.meloncu.be’ subdomain.
