For Minecraft fans, Minecraft Live can be one of the most exciting times of the year, bringing with it new announcements, games, and even cosmetics to show off to peers. So, today, we explore the Minecraft Live 2025 announcement, including the date, confirmed content, and rumors for what may appear.
Minecraft Live 2025 Date & Time
Minecraft Live 2025 is returning on March 22 at 1 PM ET and can be watched on Minecraft’s YouTube, Minecraft’s Twitch, and Minecraft.net. Fans can also tune in 15 minutes early for a community pre-show and stick around after for a second show called “The Deep Dig,” where mystery guests and developers play the upcoming Minecraft update. Based on previous years, the pre-show, Minecraft Live 2025, and The Deep Dig can likely be expected to have a combined runtime of around one hour and thirty minutes.
Upcoming Content
Official information on what’s to come is sparse at this time, with only what was shown in the Minecraft Live 2025 trailer being confirmed. As such, at the very least, we can expect information on the upcoming game drop and exclusive Minecraft Movie content.
As for what is rumored, past leaks suggest we may see the announcement of Minecraft’s upcoming game called Spicewood. Supposedly, it may even be a Minecraft Dungeons sequel. Some fans also speculate that the enderman doing the famous Fortnite dance “Floss” in the Minecraft Live announcement video is foreshadowing an announcement for a Minecraft and Fortnite collaboration.
Sadly, as fun as it is to speculate, we will ultimately just have to wait and see.
Will There Be Any Minecraft Live 2025 Cosmetics?
As of the writing of this article, Mojang has not shared any plans to release Minecraft Live 2025 capes or cosmetic rewards. Hopefully, we will end up getting an announcement for one or the other.
